Protern Video Version 2.0.2 - Acceleration overlays, clearer comparisons, and improved multi-cam control
This update to Protern Video focuses on making on-hill and post-training review clearer, especially when comparing runs and explaining where forces and speed changes occur.
Acceleration overlays in video and comparisons
Protern Video now includes acceleration overlays mapped directly to the athlete’s line. These are available in single video mode and in side-by-side comparisons.
Seeing acceleration in context helps coaches explain how speed is built, lost, or redirected through a section, rather than relying on speed alone. The overlay connects changes in acceleration directly to line choice and execution that athletes already recognize on video.

Note: Speed values are now slightly smoothed when calculating acceleration and lateral force. This makes the overlays easier to interpret during review. Videos uploaded before January 22 use raw speed data, which can result in noisier acceleration overlays. Read more about these changes.
Absolute speed in side-by-side comparisons
Side-by-side comparisons now support viewing absolute speed values, not just relative differences. This gives coaches more control over how comparisons are explained, whether the focus is on time gaps or on actual speed through a section.

More flexible multi-cam review
Multi-cam videos can now be expanded or collapsed, allowing a single camera angle to be selected without removing the full multi-cam. This is useful when reviewing a specific part of the course without needing to watch a full top-to-bottom run.

Android camera orientation fix
This update also resolves a camera orientation issue affecting some Android devices.
